It’s been a busy last few months at the Vasey villages.
From games days, to bus outings, to arts and craft, to pamper sessions for the ladies, our residents have enjoyed the recent social activities organised by Vasey Communities’ Social Support Coordinator.
During February, a Games Day was organised in each of the villages as a way to come together and enjoy some fun and laughter with a dash of competitiveness. Games included quoits, corn hole, giant naughts and crosses, and a type of darts with sticky foam balls.
March saw residents from all four villages attend a bus outing to the Art Gallery of NSW. Residents were free to wander the gallery exhibitions as they pleased, with some enjoying lunch together at the onsite café.
For April, we planned a makeup pamper day for the ladies in each village. Rageism Beauty came to each village to talk about the aging skin and how to apply makeup to mature skin while providing a free makeover to some of the ladies as well.
