Over the last 2 weeks of September our Vasey Communities residents in Hunters Hill, Epping, Lane Cove and Maroubra have welcomed in Spring with a morning tea and very enjoyable social catch up!
Spring is a beautiful reminder that life is always renewing itself. As the days grow brighter and new blooms appear it’s a wonderful time to pause, connect and celebrate the simple joys of being together.
And that’s exactly what our residents did, chatting and sharing stories over a cup of tea, a biscuit, a sandwich or wrap and a few tasty indulgent treats.
Amongst a range of other organised activities and ways in which we encourage, and support continued independent living well in our villages, these simple gatherings that can break down isolation and create opportunities for new connections and friendships can be so important.
