Yesterday, the team from Vasey Communities participated in the Out of the Shadows Walk in recognition of World Suicide Prevention Day.
As part of the event, the Vasey team were encouraged to walk 9 km’s, representing the 9 Australians who die by suicide every day. The walk is part of a national movement uniting communities to raise awareness, encourage meaningful conversations, and show support for those affected by suicide.
We are proud to support this vital initiative, raise much needed funds and contribute to Lifeline’s vision to build a stronger and more connected community where everyone feels supported, valued and heard.
