It’s always an exciting time to call upon our community of members, stakeholders and residents to reflect on all that the organisation has achieved over the past year and what’s to come in the next. The Vasey Housing Association’s 60th Annual General Meeting was held on Tuesday 19 July 2022 and within our village communities throughout the week.
A huge highlight of the presentation was of course the acknowledgement of Vasey’s 60th Year Anniversary, and the nearly completed Kokoda Residences vertical village in Waitara set to open in the coming months.
Special thanks were given to Colonel Keith Schollum (RETD) for over 11 years of service to the Board, including 5 years as Chair, and the Board elected Colonel John Hutcheson AM ADC (RETD) as a Director. John comes to Vasey from a rich military career and with extensive leadership, strategic and planning experience, having been CEO of Legacy Club Services, a charity that provides various support services to the families of Defence personnel.
Following the formalities, invited guests and company enjoyed a reception with drinks and canapes, as celebrations of the Diamond Jubilee continue.
