Graham Hooper

Graham Hooper was recruited to the role of Vasey CEO in December 2017. He brings significant experience in leading aged care organisations as well as expertise in development and construction.
After many years in local government he joined the retirement village sector as Development Manager for Anglican Retirement Villages in 2005. Prior to joining Vasey, he was COO of the Arts Health Institute, a lead not-for-profit aged care organisation, General Managers at Leigh Place Aged Care, and General Manager at Arton Group Aged Care and Retirement.

Kate Gunton

Kate Gunton is a management professional with extensive experience in property portfolio management, strategic facility planning and asset management. Combining a degree in architecture with an MBA, Kate has over 25 years of operational leadership, strategy and consulting experience.
She has worked in and advised on both public and private sector organisations across energy, education, health and finance. Kate joined the Board of Vasey in 2016 bringing expertise in architecture and property development. She also chairs Vasey’s Risk Management & Planning Committee.

Colonel Keith Schollum

Keith Schollum is a successful senior general manager and leader with extensive experience in corporate planning, international relations, operations, training, change management, personnel and workforce planning, and administration.
He was a successful Australian Army field commander who also held a number of key staff appointments. While posted to the Australian Embassy in Washington DC as the Assistant Defence Attaché, he was seconded to the US Defense Department’s Coalition Provisional Authority – Iraq for Operation Iraqi Freedom, and the conflict and immediate post-conflict reconstruction effort in 2003. He retired from the Australian Army in June 2004 and joined the Operations Division of the Rail Corporation of New South Wales (RailCorp) until finishing in 2013 as General Manager.
After being a Director of the Vasey Housing Association, NSW since 2011, he took up the role of Chairman of the Board form August 2014 to August 2019.

Andrew Condon
Director

Andrew Condon is a company director with a diverse range of leadership and management roles across Agriculture, Engineering, Defence, Social & Welfare services, and Sports Administration. He joined Vasey in 2012 and is a member of both the Risk Management and Planning Committee and the Nominations Committee.
His career of 27 years in the Australian Regular Army involved a number of civil secondments that included missile manufacturer in West Germany, design engineer with Jaguar Rover Australia, and a Visiting Fellow to Sydney University. He retired from the Australian Army in 2007 and took up the appointment of CEO Sydney Legacy until 2015 which transitioned to Legacy NSW Associated Clubs. Andrew was appointed to the Prime Ministerial Advisory Council on Ex-Service Matters, from 2011 to 2014.
Previously a company director of the Gallipoli Memorial Club in Sydney CBD, Andrew took on the role of Chairman of Board RSL LifeCare in late 2017.

Christina Hobbes

Christina Hobbes has worked as a real estate property developer in senior roles in listed and global companies across portfolios and projects in all stages. Currently Christina works at UrbanGrowth NSW Development Corporation in the NSW Department of Premier and Cabinet.
Christina’s hands-on career spans the full development process through concept, acquisition, development, design and construction delivery across broad industry sectors, including retail, industrial, office, residential and mixed-use; encompassing feasibility, budgets and forecasts and managing marketing, sales, customer service, finance, and legal.
Christina is winner of UDIA’s Leadership Award 2013; twice winner of NAWICs Contribution to Project Development (2007 and 2011); and completed projects recognised through several industry awards, with longstanding involvement in UDIA NSW Urban Revitalisation and AIA NSW Practice Committees. She has held significant roles in not-for-profit associations including Board Director and Risk Planning and Management Committee Member at Vasey since 2016.

Arthur Koumoukelis

Arthur Koumoukelis has been a partner of Thomson Geer lawyers since 2018 in the aged care and retirement village practice area of that firm. Prior to that, Arthur had spent 29 years at Gadens Lawyers (now Dentons) to lead Gadens’ retirement village and aged care national practice. Arthur holds dual qualifications in Law and Accountancy.
Since 1995, Arthur’s legal industry specialty has been aged care, retirement villages, and not-for-profits. His legal skills have been in the corporate, tax and commercial litigation areas. Arthur currently holds a number of roles, including Vice President Diabetes NSW & ACT (director since 2008), director The Vasey Housing Association, and director Diabetes Qualified. He also sits on the Finance and Risk Committee of Aged and Community Services Australia (national body) and has been a member of the Property Council Retirement Living Council. He leads a subcommittee in drafting the dispute resolution provisions of the Code of Conduct.

Meg McKechnie

Meg McKechnie is a Director, Forensic Investigations in Clayton Utz’s Forensic and Technology Services team. Meg is a Chartered Accountant, a qualified investigator and a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She joined Vasey as a Director in 2016 and chairs the Finance Audit & Compliance Committee.
Meg is a highly experienced forensic professional with more than 20 years of experience as an investigator of corporate misconduct, financial crime and corporate governance failings in Australia and Asia. She has deep investigative, forensic, regulatory and insolvency knowledge gained from roles in the private sector as well as from senior roles in the public sector at ASIC and APRA. She also has extensive experience providing assistance to legal teams including with the collation of evidence, the provision of financial analysis and quantification of economic damages required for administrative, civil and criminal proceedings.
